Dear amateur competitor:

It’s time to sign up for the 13th Annual SouthernStar USADance Mid-Summer Classic Championship. This all-amateur competition will be held at the beautiful Rhapsody Ballroom in Tampa Florida. Rhapsody, with its 40 x 60 floating floor is just 10 minutes from Busch Gardens, and only one hour from Disney World, Universal Studios, Cirque du Soleil’s La Nouba, Seaworld, and the beautiful Gulf beaches.

The competition will be held July 29, 2006, starting at 9:00 AM and finishing up around 6:00 PM when we will be having a catered dinner followed by an evening party with honors dances. We hope you can join us at the ballroom on Friday from 5:30 to 6:30 for a Wine and Cheese reception. The ballroom will be open until 8:30 PM for practice if you like.

The deadline for entry at a reduced price is July 15, 2006. Entry forms and complete information on the competition can be found on our website at southernstarusabda.org .

Your entry fee will include dinner and an evening dance as well as the Wine and Cheese Reception. There will be a number of scholarships awarded for various competition levels, so sign up now.
